The Coastal XL fit is designed for large heads that don’t get enough coverage from standard frames. Detour notes their XL sunglasses are roughly 8%–10% bigger than their average size, and they recommend going XL if sunglasses normally feel tight or don’t cover all of your eye region. For comfort during long wear, this frame includes spring hinges to help the arms flex more naturally.
You also get polarized UV400 Protective lenses.
